Rapid technological developments, growing competition and elevated buyer expectations have made a marketer’s job more durable than ever before. In addition to the contact time, full-time students are expected to undertake around 24 hours of personal self-study per week, plus additional preparation for assessments and examinations. Typically, this will involve meeting with individual tutors to discuss progress and feedback, completing online activities, reading journal articles and books, working on individual and group projects, undertaking research in the library and online. In addition to this, students will spend time sharing ideas with fellow students, taking part in extra-curricular learning activities and engaging with external employers.

At the end of this course there are logical career paths into business, banking and financial management, both in the UK and around the world. You can also undertake further study at postgraduate level with a course such as our Business with Financial Management MSc. If you decide to start up your own business, it’s good to know that the combined turnover of our graduates’ start-up companies is higher than that of any other UK university.

This will mean you need to decide well what amount of money you would like to spend on the accounting software. This will prevent you from getting into financial difficulties at a later point. Or Investment Valuation Models: This module analyses how financial market information (corporate, country-specific and global information) can be used to estimate the value of different investments. It covers a range of different models that are available to an analyst performing investment valuation, while presenting the common elements in these models to provide a framework that can be used to select the right model for any valuation scenario.
