Below are just a handful of articles describing degrees that may put you on the track to a career in this field.
Full-time students have the opportunity to take a year-long work placement after the second year. A work placement can allow students to gain valuable experience and apply their learning in practice. Please note that students who choose to undertake a work placement do not pay tuition fees for that year, but are required to cover their travel, accommodation and general living costs.
There is a wide range of coursework assessment methods, many designed to enhance your transferable skills. You may be developing strategy documents and international business analysis reports, creating presentations and videos, or evaluating information from Bloomberg on international markets and organisations. You may be working alone or as part of a team.
In your second year, you’ll discover key business finance skills and theories in your compulsory finance module. You’ll also build and hone your quantitative skills. You’ll then explore key management theories, tools and methods in three management modules, developing critical skills that will enable you to start to think for yourself and make your own business decisions. You will also choose one optional module, selecting any of those available across NBS. The annual NBS Module Fair will help you choose the right option for you.
